During her degree, Maria completed a placement block at Horizons Therapy Services where she gained invaluable insight and experience into the workings of the clinic. Alongside this, Maria also gained experience in other areas of occupational therapy including spinal cord injury rehabilitation and community mental health.
Maria currently works with kids ranging from ages 2-13 years old presenting with an array of varying abilities and differences. Maria strives to ensure that each child is provided with a service that is unique to their individual needs and the needs of their family. Maria enjoys working with children and their families in helping them reach their fullest potential, while having fun along the way!
Outside of Horizons Therapy Services, Maria enjoys spending her free time running and playing the harp.
