I had the pleasure (and terror!) of lecturing for CBR students in the University of Winneba with physiotherapist Robert Dulay and occupational therapist Jenna Kobara on visible and invisible disabilities as well as the role of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
What is Occupational Therapy? It is an evidence based health science which focuses on meaningful occupation -things you do that have meaning or value to you. These things can range from mundane every day tasks like brushing your teeth or getting dressed, to work or study, eating, cooking, paying bills to what you do for fun or to relax. Literally anything that occupies your time! If humans do it, it is an occupation.
