Diagnostic Autism Assessment: €1500
This is the assessment needed to access an autism diagnosis and possible autism specific resources (e.g in school).
It is multi-disciplinary , includes the ADOS and will be accepted by the HSE and schools.
Minimum age for this assessment is 31 months
This will involve two scheduled visits to the clinic.

- Play based assessment using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule 2 (ADOS-2). Co-scoring by a second clinician (Speech & Language Therapist / Psychologist)
- Structured parent interview using the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R - Clinical psychologist)
- Occupational Therapy Screening
- Liason with other relevant professionals e.g. GP (as appropriate)
- Information from school or pre-school if appropriate.
- Detailed developmental history interview (Occupational Therapist / Psychologist)
- Feedback to parent
- MDT report with detailed recommendations for home and school.
- Developmental/cognitive(IQ) assessment €550
- Full Speech & Language Assessment €400
